  • Face-to-Face Assessment: 6 hours

You’ll need a computer or tablet with internet access to complete the online theory component before your practical session.

Who Can Enrol?

There are no entry requirements or prerequisites — this course is open to anyone wanting to build life-saving skills.

That said, participants will need adequate Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills to follow instructions, complete the online theory, and record outcomes. If you’re unsure whether this applies to you, our team is happy to talk through your needs, or you can refer to our Learner Support Services Policy.

What to Expect on the Day

Come dressed in comfortable, casual clothing — the practical session includes bending, kneeling and lying on the floor. You’ll be assessed through:

  • Online theory assessments
  • A face-to-face practical assessment

Note: You’ll need to demonstrate Adult and Child CPR on the floor as part of your practical assessment.
